BE GOOD NOT WAKING UP

Named after 94-year-old chemistry professor John B. Goodenough, newcomers BE GOOD are out to impress with new single ‘Not Waking Up’. The band have been doing the rounds in their hometown Oxford, supporting the likes of C Duncan and Willie J. Healey at iconic venues including The Bullingdon and Cellar. In terms of genre, ‘Not Waking Up’ falls somewhere tantalisingly indescribable; too wonky to be indie, too psychedelic to be R&B and too soulful to be straight pop. What it is, however, is an utterly brilliant slice of woozy lo-fi which leaves us wanting much more. Stay tuned to their newly spring-cleaned soundcloud page for more from BE GOOD… -HM
